Biography

He was elected first as a Galway city councillor in 2009 before being elected as a TD in 2011. A member of the Dáil Public Accounts Committee, he is also vice chairman of the Public Service Oversight and Petitions Committee.

Why should someone vote for you (in 140 characters or fewer)?

I have real policies, a proven work ethic and a strong record of delivering for Galway and Galway West.

What is your number one priority for your constituency?

I want to build a thriving, creative and inclusive Galway - one that we can all be proud of. Galway should now look to a better future.

What one thing would you like to do in your first 100 days of the new Dáil if you are elected?

I would like to get full funding and sign-off for a new emergency department for University Hospital Galway.
