Biography

He was first elected to the Dáil in 2007 and was re-elected in 2011. He was appointed chairman of the Joint Oireachtas Committee on Transport and Communications in July 2013, and is the former Fine Gael deputy spokesperson on arts, sport and tourism with special responsibility for sport.
