Biography

A journalist by profession, she writes a regular weekly column for the Sunday Independent newspaper. This is her first time running for political office and she is running as part of the Independent Alliance. She has campaigned on a number of national issues and is a graduate of Trinity College Dublin.

Why should someone vote for you (in 140 characters or fewer)?

I'm a new, yet experienced, voice for Dún Laoghaire. I can represent my constituents honestly without having to kowtow to a party whip.

What is your number one priority for your constituency?

Ensuring fairness for our most vulnerable: the elderly, lone parents, children and the disabled.

What one thing would you like to do in your first 100 days of the new Dáil if you are elected?

Set a date for a referendum to repeal the 8th amendment.
