Biography
She challenged for a seat in a number of local and general elections before being elected to Dublin City Council in 2009. She is a member of the Unite trade union and is an active and prominent campaigner on a number of local and national issues, including the anti-water charges movement.

Why should someone vote for you (in 140 characters or fewer)?
Vote for me as the voice of people power – on water charges, housing, community cutbacks, equality and all issues affecting ordinary people.
What is your number one priority for your constituency?
To build active resistance of people power in the community and in workplaces, over every attack on our rights and living standards.
What one thing would you like to do in your first 100 days of the new Dáil if you are elected?
Scrap Irish Water because it will show that people power can win and open the door to ending austerity and clearing out the establishment.
