Biography

She was elected as a Dublin city councillor in 1999. She failed to win a seat in the 2002 general election but she was elected in 2007 and re-elected in 2011. She was previously the Fine Gael spokesperson for older citizens and is a former mayor of Dublin (2005-2006).

I am hard-working, honest and committed to my community and those who seek my help.

What is your number one priority for your constituency?

Job creation and making work pay more than welfare.

What one thing would you like to do in your first 100 days of the new Dáil if you are elected?

To provide more social housing units in the city, and to reduce the number of people who are homeless.
