Biography
He was first elected to Kilkenny County Council in 2004, and has been a sitting councillor since. A community activist, he ran unsuccessfully in a 2015 by-election. A former mayor of Kilkenny, he is the Green Party Spokesperson for Environment, Community and Local Government.

Why should someone vote for you (in 140 characters or fewer)?
I have worked tirelessly for 30 years as an activist. I bring integrity, courage and leadership and a pledge to work for the common good.
What is your number one priority for your constituency?
Helping to facilitate the regeneration of our towns, villages and rural areas to make them inclusive spaces where communities flourish.
What one thing would you like to do in your first 100 days of the new Dáil if you are elected?
Build alliances with left parties and independents to challenge for a fairer distribution of resources and sustainable development.
