Biography

Phil Prendergast (54) was born in Kilkenny but lives in Tipperary. The Labour party member twice served as Mayor of Clonmel and was elected to South Tipperary County Council in 1999 and Seanad Éireann in 2007. She replaced Alan Kelly as an MEP in 2011 when he was elected to the Dáil.
