Biography
Nessa Childers (57) was elected in 2004 to represent the Blackrock area on Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Council for the Green party. She resigned her seat in 2008 and joined the Labour Party in 2009. She became an MEP the same year but left Labour in 2013 and is now running as an independent candidate.
