The ‘Sunbeam’ schooner had lain partially buried in the sand just offshore ever since she ran aground while on a voyage from Kinvara in Cork in 1903.
The wreckage was found in northeastern Namibia, at Bwabwata National Park.
Police say the men were seen on the ship with a Costa Concordia rucksack, and are suspected of trying to take items as souvenirs.
It’s more than two weeks since the Dutch-owned training vessel sank near Kinsale.
However, no trial is expected until the beginning of next year at the earliest.
The young girl’s father died in the incident, police said. The girl survived by eating Pop-Tarts and drinking Gatorade.
