The Department of Equality and Integration confirmed 146 people are accommodated in tents at the site.
New Horizon, a local refugee and asylum seekers support organisation, describe the conditions as 'inhuman and degrading'.
Its chair told The Journal: 'You cannot have people in tents at the beginning of December in Ireland.'
