Brian Murray from Dublin of Eastern Bay Swimming Club won this year’s men’s Liffey Swim.
At around 3.30pm today, a man seeking to cool off jumped into the Liffey at the IFSC in Dublin; minutes later another dived in near Temple Bar.
Swimmers Donncha O’Siadhail and Orla Walsh won their respective races.
Gerard Wilkes and Rachel Lee won the respective men and women’s events.
Participants swam 2.2km, with the winner in the men’s race finishing in just 26.16 minutes.
The 91st annual event took place in the capital this afternoon.
