Employers will need 'a very good reason' to refuse a request for remote working

A new bill would give people the legal right to request remote working.

Tánaiste Leo Varadkar has said new legislation will 'make it harder' for employers to say no.

The legislation lists 13 potential reasons why an employer might refuse such a request.

Varadkar has also said employers should give a pay rise to employees 'where they can afford' it.
