The funeral of Gay Byrne took place at the Pro Cathedral in Dublin yesterday.

The funeral of Gay Byrne took place at the Pro Cathedral in Dublin yesterday.
The funeral will begin at noon at St Mary’s Pro Cathedral, and will be broadcast on RTÉ.
The funeral cortège passed by the Dáil, the Department of Health, and Áras an Uachtarán.
The men will be allowed to assist in the Eucharist and celebrate Baptism and marriage but cannot say Mass or hear confessions.
