Justice Minister Helen McEntee said today that Ireland will welcome refugee families from Greece under the Irish Refugee Protection Programme.
Greek authorities have said the fires on Tuesday and Wednesday evening were deliberately set by some of the camp’s residents.
The blaze means thousands more refugees are in need of emergency housing.

A state of emergency is set to be declared on the island.
