Met Éireann said this morning that “significant accumulations” of sleet and snow are possible for Thursday.
An advisory issued today by Met Éireann lasts from Sunday morning until Wednesday evening.
Met Éireann has said that the start of next week will be “bitterly cold and wintry”.

The rainfall warning will be in place for Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo and Sligo.
