The attacker has been ordered to pay €7,500 to his victim.
The Anti-Austerity Alliance TD was issued with a court summons in connection with last year’s anti-water charges protest in Jobstown.
Juvenilles who were arrested in relation to the Jobstown protest appeared in court today.
Mostly for public order offences.
The party were supposed to hold a press conference yesterday.
The rally was organised in support of protesters charged with falsely imprisoning Tánaiste Joan Burton.
“This government is a farce, a disgrace and fascist tyrants. This country is in bits and now they’re victimising the ones who were standing up for it.”
The summonses relate to the alleged false imprisonment of Tanaiste Joan Burton.
Paul Murphy says the denial of a collection permit has been met with “a huge amount of support and shock.”
He and his AAA colleagues have written to the Justice Minister.
It was reported last week that the Director of Public Prosecutions will direct that charges including false imprisonment be brought against up to 23 protesters.

Two arrests were made in south-west Dublin this morning. The man and woman are being held at separate stations.
