Biography

He was elected to Carlow County Council in 2009, where he served as Fine Gael Whip, before being elected to Dáil Éireann in 2011. He was chairman of the Transport & Infrastructure Strategic Policy Committee and has been involved with the IFA.

Why should someone vote for you (in 140 characters or fewer)?

I have delivered for Carlow, strong representation and not afraid to make the hard decisions.

What is your number one priority for your constituency?

Jobs, live register has fallen by 23%, 6,854 in Feb 2012 to 5,267 in Nov 15, to keep the economic recovery going.

What one thing would you like to do in your first 100 days of the new Dáil if you are elected?

A major jobs announcement, say 400-500 jobs for Carlow.
