Biography

He ran unsuccessfully in a number of local and national elections before being elected to Fingal County Council in 2014. A law lecturer at DCU, he is the chairperson of the Green Party and its spokesperson on justice & equality.

I’ve a track record of hard work and delivering as a councillor, combined with new ideas on how to change the law to tackle problems Ireland faces.

What is your number one priority for your constituency?

Dublin West needs investment in high quality social and affordable houses, health and education facilities, public transport and childcare places.

What one thing would you like to do in your first 100 days of the new Dáil if you are elected?

Change the law to force NAMA to provide land banks to local councils so they can start building social and affordable housing.
