We speak to director Tomm Moore about Cartoon Saloon’s latest Oscar-nominated film, Wolfwalkers.
Kilkenny-based Cartoon Saloon’s The Breadwinner is nominated for an award at tonight’s Oscars.
The Kilkenny-based animation studio have previously been nominated for The Secret of Kells and Song of the Sea.
OK so everyone in Ireland do know each other.
And the movie’s film producer is none other than Angelina Jolie!
Martin McDonagh and the Kilkenny-based Cartoon Saloon have also been nominated for awards.
Another 60 jobs were announced at tech company Red Hat in Waterford.
The film tells the story of a 12-year-old girl who dresses up as a boy in order to work and provide for her family in Afghanistan.
The Hollywood star will be working with Cartoon Saloon.
It looked like David Rawle wouldn’t get a ticket, but he hustled and scrambled and made it to the show.
Some people don’t pick up their tickets and they’re hoping to get their hands on them.
We’re rooting for Cartoon Saloon’s Song of the Sea.
Doop de doo, just another… OH.
Song of the Sea is nominated for Best Animated Feature.
Chris O’Dowd is lined up to voice Puffin Rock, an animated series from the makers of The Secret of Kells.
